Terms of use

1 · What Sugalink is and what it provides

Sugalink is a platform for verified adults, operated under the sugalink.com domain. It provides software to discover profiles, connect through a match, talk and, if both people wish, arrange an in-person First Date at a public place they agree on. Conversation after a match is free. Sugalink does not sell, broker or guarantee meetings, relationships or outcomes, and is not a party to the private financial agreement for a First Date.

2 · Eligibility, identity and declared background

18+ only. For features that require confirmed identity, Sugalink accepts two approval routes: verification with an official document and a liveness check by the identity provider, or an authorised manual review by the team, indicated by the star on the profile. Manual approval is an alternative route and does not imply completion of the provider’s automated process. Approval does not replace the other access, account-status, safety and moderation requirements. Accounts that try to evade identity checks, that are operated by third parties, or where there are indications that the account holder is a minor, are suspended immediately and reported to the authorities where appropriate. We may require additional identity checks, including a fresh liveness check, when a new device or signs of use by another person are detected. Background, projects, education and mentoring topics are information declared by each person. Publishing them does not establish income, assets, positions or financial standing, and does not constitute professional verification by Sugalink. Neither document verification nor manual review establishes income, assets or financial standing. Mentoring is optional and does not promise hours, results or professional services.

3 · Matching, conversation and arranging the First Date

A mutual like creates a match and allows a free conversation to begin. In the chat, both people may express interest in meeting and agree on their expectations, with or without an amount. Expressing interest or sharing a proposed amount does not by itself schedule a date or grant access to private information or photos. To arrange the meeting, a day and time are proposed; the other person may accept, suggest a change or decline. Both people agree on a public place in the conversation: choosing a venue from a Sugalink catalogue is not required. The limits, response deadlines, rescheduling rules and confirmation windows indicated in the app apply.

4 · Optional First Date and private direct-payment agreement

A First Date is optional. The person receiving the invitation may propose an amount or a date with no agreed amount. Where there is an amount, it is shared privately and requires both people to agree; sharing it is not acceptance of the amount or the date. Payment takes place directly between them: 100% of the agreed amount belongs to the person receiving the invitation, and Sugalink takes 0% commission on it. Sugalink does not collect, process, hold, intermediate or guarantee that money or performance of the agreement. It does not handle its refund or act as a debt collector. Accepting a date or agreeing on an amount does not create an obligation to intimacy, a relationship, mentoring or another meeting. People may report conduct under section 8 without making Sugalink a party to the financial agreement.

5 · Free features and optional purchases

Talking after a match and returning a like are free. There is no charge to open that conversation, arrange a First Date, confirm its QR code, report or block. Optional Sugalink digital services, extra likes and storefront content purchases may have a price, disclosed with the currency and conditions before each purchase is confirmed. Buying or selling content is not required to talk after a match or decide whether to have a First Date. These charges are separate from money agreed for a date, which does not pass through Sugalink. The platform does not apply monetary penalties for cancelling a date or failing to confirm its QR code.

6 · Refunds, credits and purchase disputes

Refunds for digital services, extra likes or content are handled according to the product, the conditions disclosed at purchase and the rights provided by applicable law. There is no general rule requiring every refund to be internal credit or always excluding the original payment method. Usage credits, where applicable, are separate from a creator’s sales earnings and do not turn those earnings into a non-withdrawable balance. Claims are reviewed using the available information and evidence; statutory withdrawal, refund and payment-dispute rights are respected in all cases. A Sugalink purchase and a dispute about direct payment for a First Date are separate matters: Sugalink does not receive that date money or handle its refund.

7 · Meeting confirmation, QR code and payment statements

The QR code records confirmation of the meeting within the window indicated in the app. It does not prove that a payment took place or create a charge, balance or transfer. Cancelling a date or failing to confirm the QR code does not generate a monetary penalty. A statement about direct payment records what the person declares; it is not a bank confirmation or a guarantee by Sugalink. The absence of a report does not by itself prove that a date or payment took place either. Arrival and confirmation records may form part of the evidence reviewed in a conduct report, without proving payment on their own. Sugalink does not perform real-time location tracking.

8 · Conduct, reports and moderation

The following are prohibited: offering, soliciting or implying sexual services in exchange for money; harassment, coercion and violence; impersonation and accounts operated by third parties; the presence of minors; and sharing other users’ content without their consent. Profiles and conversations are moderated with technology and a human team. Reports, including no-shows, failure to honour a direct-payment agreement, repeated cancellations or false claims, are reviewed under the moderation procedure and its evidence requirements. An allegation does not by itself produce a charge or an automatic sanction. Substantiated breaches may lead to strikes, suspension or removal under the moderation and appeal rules. Conduct moderation does not collect, recover or guarantee date money. Blocking and reporting are free.

9 · Private photos, permissions and storefronts

You are responsible for the content you publish and must have the right to use it. Swimwear is allowed in public photos. Nudity and sexually explicit content must not appear on public profiles, cover photos or public previews. Adults may share their own intimate content through authorised private access or sell it as protected content, subject to review. Content involving minors, lack of consent, unauthorised third parties or violence is not allowed. Approving a private photo does not make it public or offer it for sale. Free access to private profile photos is granted person by person and may be revoked; it is not sold. Background-sharing permissions are separate from private-photo permissions: a match grants neither automatically. Each person decides what to publish and which private details to share with each recipient. Private photos may display a mark identifying the viewer; sharing them outside the platform without permission may lead to sanctions and applicable legal action. Storefront content purchases are separate from those permissions and from the First Date. The item, price and currency are disclosed before purchase; the creator sees the applicable commission and net amount. Earnings, held and available amounts, and withdrawals retain their currency and status, with a history of reconciliation and adjustments. Requesting or recording a withdrawal does not by itself prove that a transfer has reached a bank account. Publishing or selling is optional and does not guarantee earnings.

10 · Pausing, closing and suspended accounts

Pausing a profile is reversible and removes it from discovery; it does not close the account or automatically revoke private permissions already granted. Permanent closure is a separate process requiring express confirmation. Purchases, balances, obligations and records that must be retained are handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable requirements; closure does not promise instant deletion of every external file or by itself extinguish rights to balances. Safety records for suspended accounts are retained under the retention policy and applicable law. This does not affect your right to request erasure of your personal data.

11 · Liability

Sugalink provides identity and age, conversation, safety and reputation tools for people who may decide to meet at a public place. It is not a party to First Date agreements, relationships or meetings between users, does not supervise what happens off the platform, and does not guarantee outcomes, financial standing or performance of direct-payment agreements. Act with care and follow our safety guides. Nothing in these terms limits liabilities that the law does not permit to be limited or users’ statutory rights.

12 · Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced with reasonable notice. For users in Chile, Chilean law applies; for other markets, the local adaptations published on each version of the site — in the UK, including our duties under the Online Safety Act. Contact: [email protected].
